To present my completed projects, I wanted to create a simple website.

This website you are using now is the product of this consideration.
Website: johannes.bradt.me
The site is build with the new JavaScript/TypeScript frontend-framework Svelte and its corresponding meta-framework SvelteKit. The site utilizes Sveltes capability of on-edge SSR (server-side-rendering).
Therefore this page uses Cloudflares edge computing service Cloudflare Workers, to render and cache data as near as possible to the user (at over 250 edge-locations).
